News: Bryon Lars Embarking on New Plus Size Line

Posted on: June 16, 2009

Yesterday, I discovered two things that delighted me, Amber Magazine and their interview with the amazing designer, Byron Lars of Byron Lars beauty mark.  In the article, Lars says that he will be embarking on new territory with plus size offerings for Spring 2010. Byron has been on the scene since the early 90’s, his work being showcased and sold in upscale department stores, such as Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.   He has also designed fabulous, limited edition Barbie Dolls for Mattel.

beauty mark is primarily known for the chic shirts offered in Lars’ collections.   In it’s eighth season, the line has expanded far beyond that most coveted article.  His pieces are chic, sophisticated, edgy and undeniably Bryon Lars.  After viewing his collection at the website, I am very excited to see what he will be creating for curvy women.  Hopefully, his designs for the fuller figure will be on par with his straight size offerings.  Presented below are a few pieces from Byron Lars’ Fall 2009 collection, proof positive of an exciting new line to come.
